Dandruff and scalp issues. Please help!

Hi! I have had dandruff for 3 years now, and I am 18.

Well, the first year I had dandruff, it was pretty bad, then the next year it was totally gone. I have no idea why.

But then the year after and till now, I have had dandruff problems. Here are my symptoms:

-Itchy Scalp after about 24 hours of washing my hair

-My scalp gets irritated when I go for a walk. Im not sure if it is because of the body temp, or because of the sweat. When I go for a 5-10 min walk, my scalp becomes very irritated.

-I have red scabs occasionally, they are only very tiny and usually very few (I think).

- My hair gets quite oily as I progress through the day.

However, lately, I have tried this new hair gel product designed to treat scalp problems:

unfortunately, I cannot post links, but it is called 'FlakeFree'

I apply it to my hair every morning, and it actually does a really good job. All of the above symptoms have reduced. However, every morning I will always get dandruff. I do not know why. But when I apply the gel in the morning, the dandruff will be gone for the best part of the day, then reappear at night.

I will have to try and put on some of that gel in the night and see if I still get it in the morning.

If I stop using the gel even for one day, the dandruff and itchiness comes back. I don't know what to do. I don't want to have to apply gel for the rest of my life :(

NOTE: My scalp isn't always itchy/flaky, just when it starts to get a little bit dirty i.e. after 12-24 hours.

ANY help appreciated! I'm only 18, and I have other stuff to worry about! :(

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You may take Natrum Mur 200c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and see how that affects you in the next 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
