Lower Back pain

Hello,

I am 47 year old. Suffering from pain exactly on the waistline on the left side and the left hip joint.

There was very small irritation/pain about 3 months ago and it got aggravated on the day i went for a treadmill test (for insurance purpose).

The Orthopedician took XRay and said it is a case muscle sprain and later he advised IF and UV physio therapy. Meanwhile, I was also on on ayurvedic medicine and applying oil on the affecting region one hour before taking hot water bath.

I guess, both the above kind of almost cured the pain almost 80-90 percent. This was about 5-6 weeks ago.

May be because i didn't take enough precautions after that, the pain relapsed within a week and is now worse.

Orthopedician advised me total bedrest for 5 days, which i did with about 70% sincerity. But it didn't help much.

During the bedrest period (8 days ago), I found on this forum an advise to do the following:

Rhus Tox 30C and Arnica 30C, alternate every 2 hours.
I did this for about 5-6 days.

This gave a magical effect the next day itself. Pain reduced by at least 40%. Later on, because I felt there is feeling of nerve touching because of which i am getting a slight pain in the knee cap (transmitted from the waist and hip joint), I also took
Hypericum 30C every 4 hours for 2 days. This also seemed very useful.

For a day, I also alternated between Arnica 30C and Hypericum 30C every 2 hours.

Overall, my pain is at a level of 40% to 50% of what it was about 15 days ago.

I feel feverish (mild) in the evenings.

Am I on right path? What do I need to do going forward?

I have BP (uncontrolled 145/105) for which I am taking allopathic medicine which is keeping it in 130/90 range.

So far, tests have indicated that I am non-diabetic.

I had a kidney stone problem about 15 years ago and every once in 3-4 years, I still pass out a small stone without much attention.
