The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Can somebody please tell me how to take the following remedies ..
I am unable to go see a homeopathic practitioner in person, and wouln't be able to for at least two months.Remedies are for Adrenal Fatigue, I filled up the questionnaire and remedies were suggested;
http://www.abchomeopathy.com/go.php?symptoms=&no=0&c...
Remedies in question are;
1- Lachesis
2 - Nux Vomica
3 - Phosphoricum Acidum (Phosphoric acid? because it was also suggested somewhere else for adrenal fatigue)
4 - Sulphur
(Any other remedies I should take?)
Can someone please tell me how to take these remedies, what form, the potency I should take, any precautions etc
Also can I take herbal remedies as well while I take homeopathic remedies.
[I'm also taking bioplasma cell salts at the moment, all 12. And bach remedies.]
Thank you

If you are going to take a remedy, you need to take
one remedy at a time to see the effects. You should
not be taking herbal remedies or the cell salts at the
same time or the Bach Flowers-you won't know what is doing what. Herbal remedies can cause other problems
depending on what is in them.
Homeopathy is based on your totality of symptoms,
mental, emotional, what makes it better or worse,
never well since..., food and temperature preferences-
the Remedy Finder on here is really only good for
acute short term things not chronic issues.
Please state what led to adrenal fatigue,as for instance people
with an allergy often experience this due to taking meds
which drain your system, so one has to assess
the underlying cause to cure.

You have made a variety of mistakes in coming to your choice of medicine. The computer program is unable to teach you the philosophy behind symptom and remedy selection. These are the mistakes you have made:
1. You have repeated symptoms unnecessarily. When using a symptom like 'Memory, weakness for what has just done' you should not also be using the parent symptom 'Memory weakness of'. Any remedy found in the first rubric will also be in the second, and you are adding inappropriate weight to the symptom. Basically any remedy in the smaller symptom will be scored twice, and there is no reason for that. It will make those remedies seem twice as useful, when they are not.
2. Some symptoms are too common and undifferentiated to be useful for selecting remedy. Any remedy could be found in such a symptom eg. Sleep, bad or Lethargic, tired. Never use these kinds of symptoms for selecting a remedy.
3. Some symptoms are common to the pathological condition you are presenting with. We do not use those kinds of symptoms when there is a diagnosed condition creating them. We only use things which are PECULIAR or STRANGE. This means not normally found in the condition, OR not related to the condition or any other pathology. EG. Difficulty concentrating, Fatigue, Unrefreshing sleep.
Use of these symptoms will result in failure to find a beneficial remedy. You must select symptoms according to the philosophy of homoeopathy.

Our medicines are powerful, and dangerous if used inappropriately. Only use them for chronic complaints when someone with training and experience has prescribed them for you. Homoeopathy is complex and difficult to practice - it is not something you can learn from a computer program, or guess at. It takes years to study and then years again to get even just somewhat competent at it.
