I am using the wet dose of 400ml spring water and 1 drop of Arnica Montana ,twice a day as stated by Joe De Livera. My question is,how long will this solution remain potent in the bottle?Chuck D. on 2006-02-26
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I hope that you are using Arnica in the 6c potency for your Hypertension. You can take a teaspoonful thrice daily for the first month and twice daily thereafter. You must succuss the remedy by shaking the bottle hard every time at least 6 times. This has been found to increase the potency of the remedy every so slightly thereby making it more effective.
The solution will remain potent as long as you keep it in a refrigerator and should last about 2 months at the dosage of 2 teaspoonfuls daily.
Take a BP reading weekly so that you know how the Arnica therapy is helping you. Do not expect it to bring down your BP immediately like drugs will do. I am a living testimonial to the efficacy of Arnica that I have taken daily for the last 10 years. My BP is 120/80 pulse 65 at age 76.

Dear Joe,
I was wondering: at the moment I am taking a remedy every hour for a week. You mentioned in your previous post that one should keep the remedy in the refrigerator for it to remain potent. Will having the bottle out of the refrigerator (at room temperature) for a week really make the remedy ineffective? it is just that because i am taking it on an hourly basis, i have to have the bottle with me at all times, unrefrigerated ...
thanks

Liquid remedies are best kept cool but it is not essential that they be kept refrigerated. They should not however be kept near a window from which you can see the blue sky or sunlight as this will promote the growth of algae in the water which is not of course dangerous but can look disgusting. It is the lactose globules that promote this algae.
I was concerned to note that you are taking a remedy every hour for the last week. Would you like to tell me what the remedy is and for what ailment you are using in hourly ?

thanks for the info, joe!
actually, this is only the second day of taking it, i have 5 more days to go. the remedy i am taking is Helonias Dioica. i have some cherry angiomas which have appeared over the last two years and that is what i am taking it for (so that they disappear). i do not know of any other remedy that will take care of this, and laser treatment is just not an option for me.
