Please also ad Arnica 30c once daily.
And prepare the remedies in 2 separate bottles, filled with 125 - 250 ml spring water and dissolve 3 pills or drops in there and take 1 tabelespoon as 1 dose.
Succuss 5 times before taking the remedies.
You don't need to do this with Calc-f 3x, just for Arn 30 and Symph 30.
Take the remedies for 2 - 3 weeks and see how you feel.

HiTui,
I received the remedies today from the farmacia but they have given me Calc F in 6dh potency - equivalent to 6x. They can no longer get 3x. Should I take as previously suggested?

Hi Tui
I have taken the remedies for three weeks. Finished all the Conchiolinum. My mobility has slightly improved again, with walking and slopes downhill not a problem. Stairs yes, but I know it will take time. Right knee is cracking beautifully when climbing stairs. Rising from a sitting position is also a bit easier. I can kneel now! Voice still hoarse but phlegm seems slightly easier to expel. Still tired in the morning, and wake unrefreshed.

Hi Tui,
I seem to have come to a healing crisis! (I hope!). This week everything suddenly became more painful, and after a short walk of 40 minutes, my knee hurt to bend it. Body ached in most places, and it wasn't a fast overly energetic walk.

Hi Tui, all pain has subsided and there is quite a noticeable improvement. I have been monitoring it for a couple of weeks as some days it is better than others, but overall it has become easier to manage stairs. Not perfect but definitely easier. Voice is still very hoarse with phlegm. Do I now continue with the remedies:calc f, arnica, symphytum and conchiolinum,

Continue with different potency;
Take Arnica 12c and Symphytum 12c once a day for a few months and stop if aggravation.
No need to dissolve the remedies in water this time.
Also continue Calc-f with the same potency 6x and also add Calc-phos 6x.

Thank you, Tui, I will order the different potencies. Do I also continue with the Conchiolinum?

Hi Tui,
The symptoms appear to be getting worse again. I am a little unsure as my lifestyle for a couple of weeks was different - a lot more walking and slightly different diet (visiting my son and grandchildren) - but both knees are now shaky going downstairs and slopes, and the lumbar and sacrum area often aches. I notice that after resting, it improves. After walking a reasonable distance, it gets worse. Last night I woke with pain in both knees - I tend to sleep in the foetal position and it hurt to straighten my legs. I am also at times getting the most awful dryness in my mouth, which water only eases for a few seconds.

Dryness in the mouth - with or without thirst?
Do you have pain only when you are going downstairs and slopes? not when you are going upstairs?
And what kind of pain in your lumbar and sacrum area?
And have you had this before or something totally new?
Describe anything that makes the problem worse (ie. position, temperature, food etc. )
Describe anything that makes the problem better (ie. pain is better for cold bathing or at night in bed etc)

Dryness with thirst, and this has happened only three or four times, so I was not sure if this was just a 'clearing out' of a past problem.
It's not a pain as such with my knees, despite the x-Ray fact that there is arthritis there, it is as if my whole legs from the hip down are unsteady and can't take my weight. And I am not overweight. I feel it going upstairs, but more unsteady going downstairs and slopes. Rising from sitting I have to straighten my knees before I can stand.
Lumber and sacrum feels as if it is stuck, and I massage it to 'release' it, and use Tiger balm sometimes which helps. I had a problem in that area after my second labour, which over the years would strike suddenly, usually in connection with the release of a full bowel and/or the onset of a heavy period. That would cause me pain then, and the inability to bend. I do not get that severity now. Just a dull ache, making me just want to lie down, which eases everything.
Standing or walking for a long time makes it worse. Sitting for a long time makes knees very stiff. Potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, aubergines, red wine make it worse and I avoid them. Don't like them so it is easy! Temperature doesn't seem to make a difference.
Lying down or resting with legs up eases everything. Oddly though, rising from bed in the morning my legs feel unsteady, possibly because I don't sleep on my back with legs straight. Also I do the five Tibetan rites (yoga type exercises) and these also ease the unsteadiness briefly.

Please stop all the remedies and start with the following remedies;
Stannum 30c (mornings)
Pulsatila (evenings)
for 2 weeks and report back any changes.
1 dose is 2 pills / drops.

Hi Tui, tomorrow is the last day of the two weeks.
My lower back is much easier, and my legs steadier. I could walk downstairs today without holding on to the banisters. Dryness of mouth is no longer a problem. Knees still difficult when getting up after sitting a while, but overall an improvement - legs seem steadier!

Is there any new symptom or something new that you have never had before?
If not, you can continue with Pulsatila and Stannum. Take the remedies every other day ( like Day 1, Day 3, Day 5 etc) for the next 2 weeks and report back any changes.

Hi Tui,
Again, tomorrow is the last day of the two weeks, and again a slight improvement. I am so very pleased! Should I continue with the same remedies and dosage for a little longer?

Hi Tui,
I have finished the two weeks, but did not take the last dose on Wednesday, as things became worse on the Monday. Both knees and legs were very unsteady and rather painful. All has calmed down a little now. So no improvement this time.
