Severe sciatica nerve pain
A 80 yrs old man is suffering from low back pain since long time. Discs space between lower lumber vertebra are reduced with problem between L5 & S1. Since last seven days there is an acute pain from lower lumber to right hip, thigh, back of knee,calf muscle. Pain is so severe that he can put any pressure on right foot. Hamstring muscle become stiff on standing and pain starts. Pain is gripping and burning. type.Thigh muscles and calf muscle become stiff on standing. There is tingling and numbness sensation on right leg.He gets relief on lying on bed. Considering it as right sided sciatica following medicines are used independently in last ten days - Colocynth 200, Gnaphallium 200, Causticum 200 , Hypericum 200 . But there is no improvement in the above symptoms.Learned doctor and forum member are requested to look into this case and advise .

In continuation to my last post, it is informed that while sitting on chair he feels unbearable pain in buttuck and hip bone. The pain also radiates to thigh and calf muscles with tingling and heaviness sensation in leg.

Let me know how does he get relief ? From hot application? Cold application? Gets relief from massage?

1. He is a chilly person
2. Gets relief on hot application
and massages.
3. No major diseases in the past
like TB,Jaundice, Skin
4. At present He is also suffering
from hypertension, Vestibular
problem , Glaucoma and OA in all
joints.
It is further added that he feels tremendous pain in right buttuck while sitting on chair. It seems that the piriformis muscles pressed the sciatica nerve causing buttuck pain which transmits to leg.
Kindly advise.

CM potency of 3 different medicines are prescribed to be given in 10 minutes interval to the patient.
3 CM and 1M are prescribed to give on sane day.
15 drops of CM and 1M potency are prescribed as one dose.
Is this prescription suitable to a patient of 80+ age as per homeopathy principle.
Kindly clear my doubt.
