Psoriasis of 5-6 yrs.
My mother(aged 42 yrs) has been diagnozed wid Psoriasis for the past 5-6 yrs. I just came across this forum recently and m looking forward to some beneficial advice.Heading to the topic, my mother has always lead a tensed and stressful life for more than 20 yrs.
Her psoriasis is mostly prevelant in areas like fingers, palm, joints (elbow, ankle, knee), toes and legs.
Her symptoms include terrible itching and scratching the affected parts till red even followed by secretion of some pigmentation at times after scooping off layer of skin.
She had been following homeopathic presciption on and off.Had also switched on to allopathy once. I would like to know if there is any solution to this or if at all u require any further information to add to ur diagnostics, kindly feel free to ask?

I have invariably stayed away from prescribing for Psoriasis as I and others who like me try to help patients who post on this and other forums are only too aware that this is an ailment that is extremely difficult to help let alone cure.
However I have observed some success in helping with Eczema for which I have always prescribed Arnica 6c in the wet dose and when the liquid remedy from the bottle is used to dampen the affected area the cure has been dramatic.
I have never tried it on a Psoriasis patient and if you would like to pass thie information to your mother we can all benefit from this experimental use of Arnica for Psoriasis in a manner that has yet to be tried.
Please report response if you use this therapy.

Just a few queries, is the potency 6c same as 6x that we get in India.
And secondly, do u suggest intake of sulphur or any other medication necessary to go with it, at this stage?

6c is a million times greater in potency to 6x. You will have no problem to get the 6c preferably in ethanol in India. You will use just 2 drops of the liquid from the dropper bottle into a 500ml bottle of spring water you can get from supermarkets.
It is Arnica 6c that I have used for Eczema with outstanding results and I am hopeful that your mum too may benefit with the double therapy which I have only recently discovered , used both internally and externally.
You may not use other remedies or drugs as they may antidote the Arnica. Sulphur included.

I have somehow managed to get Arnica in 6 potency. But the chemist is not sure as to if it is C or X. I am a bit confused. Can u please guide me through the fact as you know the best.

I am surprised that you cannot get the remedy in the potency that you require.
If you see the figure 6 next to the word ARNICA, it is most likely the 6c potency as the 6x will be clearly indicated and this is not a commonly used potency for Arnica.

If as you state you live in Pune I am confident that there may be at least 25 Homeopathic Pharmacies in your city and you have only to look for them.
It is best to get a labeled product at the prescribed potency as in the even that it does not work we will not know the real reason why.
