i was diagnosed with gerd over 5 years ago and have tried all the remedies i am now on protonix.....and i have had some relief i have never had a burning pain, but have had sore throat, trouble swallowing....that was pretty much ok....but lately i notice i wake up everymorning with a sore throat....dry, no burning...i can swallow not painful...and constant burping...not burping up food as before.......is this gerd or something else...i do have allergies
