Dear Mani, I have not tried homeopathic remedies previously. I have tried the ayurvedic and allopathic route.I did not want to try homeopathy without the proper guidance.

1. Describe your main suffering? Chronic renal failure with swelling on the left leg (ankles/knees)



2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? Shortness of breathe,lack of appetite,thirst, not passing urine. Urea and creatinine levels are high



3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
Mentally I am fine, although at some times I feel depressed

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Depressed


5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease? Started about 4-58 years ago. I was doagnosed with nephrotic syndrome, and thereafter was told by doctor that my kidneys failed



6. Which time of the day you are worst? Evenings

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?



8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather? During hot weather


10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc. I am generally mild, but get offeneded quite easily

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm? I feel fine

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? Not really
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? No

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc? I tend to bite my nails

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? I love my family we get on well

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?


12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions? Sweets


13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive? It varies between less and excessive

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive? Less

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand? Red meat

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? I sweat very little

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? Generally it is normal

18. How well do you sleep? Not very well Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I sleep curled up(foetal position)


20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all? I am not different, except that my condition prevents me from certain things e.g sport


21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication? hypertension med,diuretics


22. What major diseases are running in your family? Mum Heart condition, Dad diabetic


23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
I am small of stature, fair and very thin.

My thirst varies. Soemtimes I drink a small amount and I am fine, but sometimes I drink at least 3-4 glasses of water and I am still thirsty.

I crave for sweets. My aversion is red meat.

There is noi need to apologise,as youa re trying to help me. I am on dialysis for 4 years now. I used to pass urine reasonably around 300 ml, but it has now stopped. Dialysis is too costly for now.I initially had stomach crmaps,and couldn't pass stool or urine. Doctrors did exploratory surgury on my stomach, and I got more sick after that. I then saw another doctor who advised I had nephrotic syndrome and he put me on treatment on hypertensives, and diuretics. After a while I had flu like symptoms and was admitted in hospital with nausea,vomiting and severe stomach pains.Doctor then advised me that I had renal failure.

You are correct in that I take a few sips of water, then later need to drink a glass or more.

Dear Mani, Apologies for not getting back sooner. I have tried in vain to source ars alb 30 locally. None of the suppliers I contacted have repleid to my e-mails. Can you help with this? I am not sure if these items are allowed into my country. Thanks....

Dear Mani,Apologies for replying after such a long time, but I have been in and out of hospital.My B.p Is still very high and there is still problems with passing urine and with swelling of my feet,ankles and legs. I have managed to find a supplier for arsenicum album but it is in the 30X concentration. Is this the same? It is in the tablet form, adn I would like to know how many tablets to take, so that I can order in advance.
