I woke up almost 3 weeks ago really dizzy. I picked up the phone to call into work and heard a sound like a faint digitized voice. over the course of the next hour lost hearing completely in left ear. I take albuterol, zyrtac, asaphix and atenenol.
went to MD who gave me antibiotics, then after first week he gave me strong decongestants. I get so dizzy and my ear is so noisy it is hard to sleep. first week or so i heard loud ringing tones, now mostly noisy air. I have an appt with ENT for March 1. This whole thing has me scared because in reading these posts I'm not hearing any resolutiions. I don't know if this helps but it's really sore on my neck behind my ear, even though I've had no head injury or loud noises.
