Pulse rose from 80 to 92 during the first half hour, where it remained for half an hour, and then fell to 76; as long as the pulse was increased in the frequency, the warmth of the body was increased.
The pulse was always diminished in frequency, without previous increase, during the first two hours, as much as 13 beats below the normal (after 3 grains of the alcoholic extract).
