hashimoto's thyroiditis, severe fatigue, PMS, painful periods, body aches in back
I have had Hashimoto;s thyroiditis for 15 years, been on levoxyl 37.5mcg daily for 8 years. I feel so tired it is hard to keep up with daily household jobs and exercising isn't happening. I like to exercise though. My upper back hurts often. My periods are insanely painful and I have horrible fatigue, it's hard to just get out of bed.joyfulgirl104 on 2009-10-21

I was given Cal Carb 3 months ago for some social anxiety and it did nothing. I use flower essences with success instead. I also take ferrum phos and mag phos for cramps.
Thank you for your help.

Please take a single dose of Sepia 200c for one day (not daily) and report back after 15 days. Please don't take any flower remedy or tissue salt on the day you take Sepia. You may take these on other days.

Thank you, I ordered them today. I assume a single dose means follow the instructions on the bottle? Also, I am still nursing my 3 1/2 year old son. It is ok to take while nursing him?
Thank you so much.

I assume a single dose means follow the instructions on the bottle?
Yes.
Generally, one dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Also, I am still nursing my 3 1/2 year old son. It is ok to take while nursing him?

I took the Sepia on 11/01/09 and yesterday and today I have started to feel slightly hyperthyroid. Is this possible? I am feeling irritable, increased hunger, and maybe slight depression. It might be PMS but it feels more like hypertyhroidism. Should I consider lowering my thyroid medication dosage and see of that helps? My thyroid is also a little swollen which happens when I am either over or under medicated with my thyroid medication.
Thank you

Hello, It has been 15 days. The black spots have gone away. I don't know if I much different. I took the remedy around the time I was ovulation and I should be starting my period any day now. I don't have the food cravings or a migraine that I usually have. I have discussed the problems in my marriage with my husband and I feel less connected to him. My thyroid is still swollen and achy. I just wish I could get off the synthetic thyroid hormones. I guess I feel an improvement. I think I am more in touch with my feeling and able to see things more clear emotionally. Any thoughts are appreciated. Will the Sepia help me get off Thyroid medications?
Thank you

We will look at the possibility of taking another dose of Sepia only after worsening of symptoms on sustained basis. Please inform here when you feel like that. Meanwhile you may take 2 pellets each of following tissue salts thrice a day for few days and see whether it helps your thyroiditis symptoms.
ferrum phos 6x
natrum sulph 6x
Please continue with your regular medication for thyroid function unless you are able to phase it out.
i know about some breathing exercises that are very effective for correcting all hormonal imbalances including thyroid function. Please read my posts on the breathing exercises called as Anulom Vilom Pranayam and Kapalbhati Pranayam by following the links given below. Please practise these pranayams regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning. You may practise at any other convinient time. The only restriction that you have to follow is not to do these exercises within 4 hours after meals. You can have meals 15 minutes after finishing these exercises.

Hello,
My period was 13 days late and I had horrible PMS this month that lasted 2 weeks. Extremely bitter about life, moody, dwelling over past hurts and weepy. I have been feeling slightly depressed and irritable since taking the sepia but I thought it was PMS but it lasted a whole month so I don't think it was PMS only. I also had a migraine that lasted about 24 hours. The only positive was my cramps were very mild. I have been feeling aggitated since taking the Sepia really. My PMS this month was the worst I have had in years. I also should mention I am very sensitive to medications, herbs and remedies. I wonder if maybe the Sepia dose was too much for me. Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated. I have been doing the breathing exercises but not consistently.
Thank you

i feel sorry that your symptoms have worsened after taking Sepia. But as you are very sensitive to homeo remedies, it is better not to go any further. Whatever effect Sepia has caused as aggravation or proving symptom should not last for more than 40-50 days. So please don't be unduly worried about that. You should try to do breathing exercises regularly.
Best Wishes.
