OBC supervening autism
Male aged 32, autistic since birth with obsessive compulsive disorder. Symptoms: Most of the waking hours constantly pacing the floor. Without any apparent cause makes violent body movements like bending forward or backward stretching arms above head twisting arms and body, incoherent speech, shrieking at anybody coming near. The episodes continue for 2 or 3 hours and slowly subsides. During these attacks not approachable and non-communicative. Episodes occur anytime of day or night. But no pattern and no apparent trigger. Psychiatrists/neurologists are clueless. Most doctors are baffled but don't admit. Can anyone give some clue?phaedrus on 2016-08-22
