She has been nursing until 2 months ago. She used to be a very good sleeper as an infant (waking up every 3-4 hours to be fed)... after 5 months old that changed. She was waking up every 2 hours to nurse... but i thought it normal since she wasn't eating solids... she didn't want solids until 10 months old... so was primarily on my milk and i fed her on demand.. so it became alot of feedings even thru the night. Became habitual.
BUt she was quick to fall back asleep.
Now since the nursing has stopped, it's difficult to put her to sleep... she doesn't like bedtime, hates it.. takes a very long time to fall asleep. She'll cry a bit.. but i'm with her.. some nights she's easier and tosses and turns herself to sleep.. other times she cries for a few minutes, and then realizes she has to sleep and will try to sleep. EVen tho she may cry before sleeping, never does she cry herself to sleep..
She doesn't ask for milk anymore.... so with each wake up, i pat her and she's quiet and she falls asleep. Some wake ups just take a few minutes.. the wake up at 3am... is the worst.. she cries loud.. and is harder to put back down.... she takes a while- tossing and turning..
If she wakes up at night, she sits up (she always did that) to look for me. When i was nursing her, obviously comfort was quick and easy.
After nursing, it was difficult for a few weeks... now it's easy.. less time.. she knows the routine of patting and is accepting of it.
Except at 5:30-6.... when she can't be quietened.. my guess is- she's hungry. I've tried milk but she doesn't like milk.. so i bring her out and give her cereal... she eats it.. not much tho.
But she doesn't go to bed till quarter to 9... i try really hard putting her to sleep earlier than that, but she doesn't give in to sleep easily.

Ok so this is the normal state for her not part of the acute she had been in.
Interestingly, this issue about feeding somewhat resembles one of the issues that comes up in Sac-alb, the remedy I prescribed for your son.
Does eating something always quieten her down?

Yes, eating always gets her in a good mood. If she's upset, or crying, she'll always point to the kitchen for me to find something she likes. The irony, is even when she's full, she'll drive me into the kitchen. She'll say no to everything i offer her- except sweets.
She loves sweets- cookies, chocolate, cakes, cornflakes, ice cream, fruit, vegetables..
Gets excited when she tastes something, and likes it. Her eyes light up.
She likes to do things on her own, she tries to feed herself, copies her brother.
And yes- she is jealous of her brother. If i carry him, she doesnt like it, and will cry so that she's in my arms. If i carry her, he doesn't mind it.
She's gutsy, takes a lot of tosses, but still will climb the chair, climb on the table, and stand.

Well well....it does appear that her remedy might be Sac-alb as well.
I am not sure I have seen that before in any family - but it is possible.
However, this is also a well-known presentation of Lycopodium - bossy, loves sweets, demanding, irritable when hungry, waking from hunger. Because she has already done quite well on it, I would actually suggest giving her another dose of 30c (using two more hits). If you can get Sac-alb for your son, it might be worth trying it on your daughter as well :)

Sure will try it on her. They are very similar, the only difference i've noticed is he had zero stranger anxiety, and she was full of stranger anxiety, but they're sleep wakeups are very very similar.

It is an interesting dynamic to see - Sacchrum demand attention and love and care - as much as they can possible get. Cocculus will give as much care as they can, neglecting themselves in the process. It will be interesting to see what happens by giving these various remedies to you all.

ha! that is ironic... no wonder i tell my husband, 'my kids take the juice outta me... literally and figuratively'.. ha ha ..
I didn't realize today is sunday.. so definitely will get the sac alb 200c tomorrow. do you suspect any aggravations?
Can giving a constitutional remedy while the child is coming out of an acute- is okay? Will it bring back the acute? (sorry i'm a real novice when it comes to homeopathy, kind of learning as my kids are being treated)

Aggravation is always a possibility - always in the symptoms that are currently a problem, or reappearance of old things (especially those that have been suppressed).
It is often prudent to start constitutional treatment as soon as the old symptoms begin to reassert themselves, to avoid falling back into the same acute pattern.
Here are some links to some articles and sites that are great for reading up on the homoeopathic process.

Did you repeat the 30c? Did it not have much effect?
If not, then yes go to 200c. I find that children usually respond better to 200c than 30c (I do a lot of pediatric prescribing).

haha nice. I am happy you are so happy :)
Still, one day is not enough time to judge it - what you want to also see is stability of the change.
But very promising result!

I am looking for cure here - so permanently.
It may take more than one dose to get that, but we cannot predict at this stage how many she will need.

Ok she didn't sleep AS well as she did the previous night.. she woke up around midnightish, but then slept thru. Woke up a little earlier than expected around 6:30 but then again went to bed around 7:20pm... so not too bad...
but her mood is a little cranky this morning, not hungry much, just a little cranky..

I did not repeat. She seemed alright... her tongue seems a little cleaner today... not that thick coating she usually has.
Still has a cough- in the morning mainly.
But it doesn't sound like a congested one.
She's got a bit of a diaper rash from the massive bms she had yesterday. Little red bumps.

She's eating well, her mood has been good... i don't really hear her cough- only in the mornings....
She's very tired now so will probably sleep soon...
I think now my main concern is her sleep. She's still playing (which surprises me because she slept so little last night!)
She's got dried crusty things in her nose from that cold that she had.

See how she is tonight - if she wakes crying or distressed I would repeat the dose with one extra hit of the bottle, but dilute it in a little more water this time. How much did you use last time?
♡ brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I used about a 1/2 cup of water i think. I think mainly she got that diaper rash after it, so i'm trying to wait it out before giving another dose... she's never gotten a diaper rash before... and there are small red bumps... she's asleep now
