Next time need to use a full cup to reduce that aggravtion.
Once you work out the right size of a dose for a person you can usually avoid all but the smallest aggravation.

Okay so she slept a lot better, woke up just once, for a few seconds. Woke up around 6 but in a very good mood, not that hungry, jjust playing. How do I get this med to hold? Seems like the day I give it to her she sleeps well that night, but after that its downhill agaiin.

When a medicine doesn't last long enough there are several possibilities.
Firstly, it is only a partial similar, and is not curing the cause of the symptoms.
Secondly, it is the right remedy but the wrong potency. Along this same idea the frequency of the dose may be too little as well.
Thirdly, there is some obstacle to cure present, usually an external influence that is causing the symptoms and needs to be removed.
If it is potency or frequency , the easiest problem to correct, hitting the bottle more often can address that - Increase the number of hits by 2 for each dose.
If frequency is the issue, usually that corrects itself once the right number of doses have been given. Sometimes waiting too long to give a dose can cause problems too. Rather than waiting for a full relapse, redose on a partial relapse.

Okay so I gave her the medicine yesterday and she's been well today. Will see how the night goes with her. I think I just gave the bottle two hits.

She slept well last night, woke up once and was quick to fall back asleep.
The problem: woke up at 5 refused to sleep was very hungry. Ate a bowl of cereal, but was cranky so i attempted to put her back to sleep after that.. it took a bit of a struggle because she kept fighting the sleep, but eventually ended up sleeping for about 45 more minutes.
Woke up in a better mood after that.
Her breath seems 80% better, and her tongue is cleaner.
What do you suggest for the next dose and when?

I would wait again before redosing - that might have been an aggravation. Lycopodium is well known to be hungry and cranky on waking.
If she appears to relapse then repeat.

She's been doing very well since the last dose i gave couple of days ago. She's sleeping well, eating well, and demeanor has improved.
My only concern at the moment is that she refuses to drink milk. She barely has any.. max 2-3 ounces a day.

See how she goes. It is not unusual to see children suddenly become averse to food they loved previously, or love food they wouldn't touch before.

Ok, she slept well last night, but now seems to have an acute- a fever- a 102. She's teething and cutting quite a few teeth at the same time! All the front teeth- upper incisors, lower incisors, bottom tooth that hadn't cut....
She's tired, cranky.. not eating much.... Her diaper rash that she had seemed to have gone away. I gave her a dose of lyc 200 (this time in a whole cup of water, 1 drop, one tspn, with 4 hits).
Please let me know whats next.
Thanks!!

Can you describe the crankiness more, the exact behavior?
That is a lot of teeth to be cutting. I suspect the remedy has pushed her into a growth spurt - this is not unsual in treating children.

Very tired, a little flushed cuz of the high fever, wanted to be carried.. kept asking me for something to eat, but refused it once it was offered. I gave her the lyco and 15 minutes later she fell asleep.
She wasn't wailing, just was uneasy and crying but more like whimpering/whining..
Her eyes were puffy. Yes a lot of teething, i was pretty surprised because she woke up so happy today and suddenly in the afternoon, after her nap, her fever set in.
Other than rubbing her nose, she isn't exhibiting other symptoms.
No bm today, which is also surprising for her.

Rubbing of the nose is another Lycopodium symptom. Did you give her a repeat dose after these symptoms started?
♡ brisbanehomoeopath last decade
David,
I don't want to start another argument here but.. I have to warn to be true to my conscience. There is only one remedy under the rubric: rubs the nose on waking, and that is Lycopodium. The general state, which is aggravating after the nap and the afternoon/evening fever will tell me that you are repeating too much. I am once again suggesting you for your benefit, Lyc does not tolerate this much repetition in a 200c.
Sooner and later, she will prove the remedy. Any more doses of 200c now, and that will engraft a Lycopodium disease on her constitution.
This is going copy book like one case that I had where a homeopath had repeated a 200c in water every 3 days through dilution and sucussion on a patient, and after about 5 doses, he developed a symptom 'weeps when thanked', and that symptom took 2 years to subside. I don't want to name that homeopath but I can tell you that homeopath was a famous American homeopath who is a strong proponent of this technique.
David Little (who understands the power of Lyc 200c) will tell you that he will wait for 'weeks' or 'months' before he repeats a 200c Lyc (even with sucussions and dilutions). I have personally talked to him about this.
You can ignore this if you want, but I felt it is my duty to bring this to your attention again.

Warning noted Sameer.
In light of what Sameer has said, is the rubbing of the nose a new symptom for her?
Just a point to make though, if she needs Lycopodium, it is impossible to graft Lycopodium on to her, as she already has the state. If it is the similar remedy then nothing will remain after it has done its work as the state will be cured.
However, if the remedy is the incorrect one, of course there is that possibility if repeated too frquently.
This all hinges on the correctness of the remedy for the patient, and so it is necessary to be careful in watching the patient's reactions to decide this.
In an acute presentation, would you wait weeks or months to repeat the remedy? I would not, and so if Lycopodium is indicated it will need to be repeated as often as the patient needs it.
Let us see how she wakes today.

Rubbing of the nose was why i came to you in the first place, it was what prevented her from sleeping, even falling asleep. Rubbing the nose and coughing. So yesterday when i noticed her doing it again, i gave her another dose of the lyco.
She slept reasonably well, woke up once around 1 am....
Woke up today, cheerful, no fever.
Thanks,
karina

I thought that was the case - so it is simply another confirmation that Lycopodium is the remedy she needs. Excellent.
As usual, watch and wait and let me know :)

Okay.. this is one story. After the meds suggested i waited it out after the lyco. She went thru a massive growth spurt.. all her teeth grew one after another..except her last molars (and she's not 2 yet). Then it was a red burning diaper rash.. then after that was a one day massive throwup day (she only drank water) and kept throwing it up.
After that one day, she became fine.. everything went away.. the diaper rash, the colds, the coughs, the congestion and she has been fine since.
But- she still wakes up really early (around 5am)..but not cranky as she used to be. She eats well now.
The problem now that she has is the same problem she had as an infant , she is waking up with sticky mucusy eyes. Eyes not red, not hurting, not bothering. ANd thru the day very little mucus comes out, it's just at night and its yellow.
ANy suggestions? Please don't suggest lyco again i don't wanna go through all those aggravations again.... *yikes*

She is very sensitive it seems - the healing crisis can be quite powerful in someone like that. I am glad that she made it through to the other end.
Now we have a return of an old symptom from earlier in her life. This is an excellent sign.
Just to be clear, she only the following symptoms:
Aggravation (cranky) on waking
Sticky yellow mucous in the eyes on waking
Discharge from the eyes is bland (not irritating)
Nothing else?

She is the way she was born: sticky eyes, congested nose, and congested chest. 2 weeks ago she started with the sticky eyes and mucusy discharge. The eyes didn't itch or hurt her through the day, but if they stick at night in sleep, then she cries out so i clean them. Then about a few days later, she got a stuffy nose with yellow mucus, that woke her up a lot in the night. She couldn't sleep for a few days- couldn't breathe.
Soon, that cold entered the chest, and it so happened that when she coughed, she pointed that her chest hurted... a few days after that, the cough became more wet, but only bothers her in sleep. She doesn't cough much during the day.
When not ill, her wake ups reduced dramatically. She used to wake up every 2 hours.. Now she either sleeps thru the night or has one to two wake ups. (1 am and/or 4 am). She is quick to fall back asleep when i put her back down.
Her wake up in the morning is way early.. around 5 am. Cranky and will cry very loud until i take her into the living room... crying that she is hungry. But when breakfast is offered she's really not too eager to eat it that early(before the treatment she was really famished around that time and would eat). She does not like chicken at all. Loves veggies and fruits. Egg- sometimes. Milk- i have to find ways to get her to drink it.
Physically she's very active.. doesn't like to sit and watch tv for very long. She loves to run and has been trying really hard to master jumping. Throws herself off the couch, etc. SHe gets ALOT of bumps and bruises because she's hardly ever looking where she runs.. she's happy and excited. But loves for mom to be around, to be sittin in one place.
When it's bedtime, she tries all sorts of antics to avoid going to sleep (even tho she's really tired).. wanting water, saying she's hungry.. saying she forgot to give her dad a hug... etc.
SHe's got dark circles under her eyes, I guess doesn't sleep much? And her eyelids are puffy, the right eye more so than the left. When she cries, she looks sick like stuffy, congested, and her eye lids puff up more.
She's tiny built, small feet, small hands, on the thin side, her mouth is tiny, lower teeth are slightly crooked and seems that it lacks space.
She loves order, everything that comes out goes right back in its place. She likes to help, get things, do things on her own. Affectionate, loves to hug and kiss, and does it tightly.
I'm not sure if she's a bit of a hypocondriac or sensitive or just trying to figure things out (imitating?) but when anyone complains of pain anywhere, she points to herself and says it hurts her too. And she'll ask for medicine for it.
She loves to dance, hear music (music always has been very calming for her), generous with her stuff. Cries if someone scolds her or talks firmly.
She imitates people and conversations.
She's very cooperative listens well. Even when sick, whatever has to be done, she does it. If it wasn't for the night wake ups and the need to have me sitting in one place, she'd be a rather perfect child. ALtho- if i'm not around, she doesn't ask/cry for me at all. She's happy.

I would try Allium cepa - do you have that or will you need to order it? If so get 200c.
